Maintenance software: we have recently made a big impact on this. We have found a simple and (as it seems now) very suitable package (actually developed for shipping) that is well applicable for (cashew) factories in Africa. Because you can’t always be connected to the shore on ships, and things also have to be able to continue offline, that is also what makes it suitable for the African context. We are in the process of setting up the first factory. That brings you right to properly review the entire organization and codify. It also takes the suppliers of machines and parts with it.
At the factory we also have the SCADA software package that does the machine monitoring. We have been able to apply the implementation of SCADA to the cashew processing and thus facilitate the OEE calculation.
Together with FarmerLink, Anasoft offers customers product traceability from the farmer’s field to export.
